Over the years, we have been approached by (honestly) hundreds of people who would like to get their start in gardening. Do any of these sound like you?

-Confident working alone and resolving the day by day gardening problems as they come up.
We have built a little offshoot to the business, where we support gardeners into gardening work and do all of the billing and admin for you.
You can work for yourself, but have us manage your admin- introducing the Very Green Collective.
We:
-Take your details, including your skill and confidence level, general availability, and region you want to work in;
-Set your rate at the market average, but are happy to alter this rate if you have your own ideas (One of the issues people tell us is that they aren’t confident charging upwards of $60hr for their work. We are confident charging $60hr for your work. And we want you to have that money.)
-Connect you with people making gardening enquiries (who we also screen, and often meet first), and sending you off to meet them to make sure you are a good match;
-Help you set a task list for the property, and provide ongoing support if needed;
-Invoice the client on your behalf, take an admin fee for our time, and deposit the money into your bank account.
What about taxes? Expenses? What do I have to do?
We organise the gardening and organise payment into your bank account. You will not be an employee, you will be a contractor, so you do need to pay your own tax.
BUT!
We strongly recommend you download Hnry. If you use our service as well as Hnry, Hnry will manage your taxes and expenses for you. So between our service and Hnry, all you will need is to do your gardening work, and chat to us about when you are attending your properties.
Hold on. Explain it one more time. What do I have to do?
-Work for yourself, in your own way, bring your own clients and/or be referred for jobs by us;
-Tell us how many hours you would like to work a week, we will help you work up to that and adjust as needed;
-You will be assigned clients, and be the only gardener for that client, so you will have a relationship with them;
-Do your gardening work at the time which suits you;
-We invoice the client and pay you on their behalf (we take an admin fee to cover our time);
-Rent tools from us if you need something fancy that you don’t already have; Contact us if you are unable to do the work and want us to send another gardener; chat to us if you need assistance or advice on the job;
-Get paid as your money comes in;
-If you use Hnry or a similar app, you will not have to manage your taxes either.
So you can work as a gardener without any additional admin.
