FAQ
How do I know these plants will grow for me?
Each indoor plant comes with its own specific set of instructions. Plants are still living things, though- for your plants to grow well, they need to be in a place with at least some natural light.
Can I choose which plant I get?
No, sorry- the order you get your indoor plants is predetermined. We also like to sneak some rarer plants in every now and then, as a bonus for our subscribers! Most of the plants in this subscription are available in the nursery, so if you are after a specific plant, consider purchasing it there.
What size is the plant?
The type and size of the plant changes every month. All of them are small-medium size for their type so that they can be posted and you can watch them grow. The first few boxes are very easy care to help you get started. Expect all sorts, from native NZ plants to more exotic South American plants.
Can I get it in a jar or mug instead of a pot?
YES! These come potted by default, because they are sold in pots usually. However, we are working towards our plants being sent out in more sustainable packaging like jars or mugs, instead of pots. This is because we do our absolute best to be zero waste and eco friendly- the mugs can be cleaned and sent to a second hand shop, and the glass jars can be recycled. You will notice that they are also delivered in re-purposed milk bottles- every part of the packaging is recyclable.
When can it be repotted?
We suggest that you leave your indoor plant in the pot it arrives in for a month or so, in order for it to get used to its new growing conditions before repotting.

No, but you can contact us via the contact form if you’d like a special gift box sent out, and we can help.
