Why are all of the gardens yellow?

The equinox has come and gone,
changing our perspectives on the garden for the next three months. We have started waking up and getting ready for our days in the dark, as the days grow shorter.

Rain... nearly!
Well, it's been a beautiful summer, and stinking hot. The temperature is lowering, at least in the evenings and mornings, and I daresay most of the garden is grateful. A spot of rain, though... please
